Paraguay advances on cybersecurity law
Paraguay’s Chamber of Deputies held a hearing on the cybersecurity bill as DNIT activated a new crypto asset filing and banks updated prevention.
Paraguay’s Chamber of Deputies held a public hearing on the bill "That creates the Cybersecurity Law of the Republic of Paraguay," with the participation of state agencies linked to critical infrastructure. At the same time, DNIT put General Resolution No. 47/2026 on crypto assets into effect, and local media reported new recommendations in response to bank cyberattacks.
